P.S. 193
At P.S. 193, our site staff serve 156 students ranging from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Led by Mariama Diallo, our Program Director, our students participate in a wide range and ever growing list of programs.

Our fourth and fifth grade students spend time each week learning about Financial Literacy and participating in the Harriman Student Economy.

Tell us about you: I'm a native of Guinea West Africa. I have a master's degree in Youth Studies and have been working for the Harriman Program for seven years. I started as a group leader and was promoted to program director for P.S. 193 in 2018. In 2022 I was promoted to the senior site director.
What’s your favorite thing about the job? Making the children and their families happy.
What's your favorite program/activity that Harriman offers? Yoga.
